As a former industrial city Bilbao is both modern and raw at the same time. This contradiction can not only be seen through the architecture but also by looking at the people that live here.
Most photos were shot with a 35 year old, manual focus, 50mm 1.4 Pentax lens. I believe the look you get from this old lens adds to the mood of an old European city. Some photos were taken with the GoPro HERO 7 BLACK but I have mixed feelings about using a GoPro for street photography.
Despite only walking on the streets for about 6 hours in Bilbao there were many opportunities for street photography. I could see myself shooting those streets for days on end. But for now, enjoy these 25 street photos from Bilbao in the slideshow below.
